Luiz Eduardo Galvão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Kirby in the 7th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Osmar Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granate's Jonathan Palmquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaakko Ramstadius in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Osmar Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Palmquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Dalmo de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Veiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Palmquist skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Christos Triantafyllou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Triantafyllou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Igor Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Palmquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 35th minute Osmar Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Palmquist came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Aesir FC FSCMZ's Osmar Marinho. But to his dismay, Osmar Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With an all-out effort, Granate's Luiz Eduardo Galvão threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaakko Ramstadius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jaakko Ramstadius charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaakko Ramstadius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaakko Ramstadius hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Granate's Donato Lekubegi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo de Brito. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christos Triantafyllou to make the kick off. Jonathan Palmquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Marinho in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jaakko Ramstadius hit a great ball. If Igor Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Sebastian Dominic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manoel de Amorim. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Berger in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaakko Ramstadius in the 74th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granate were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enzo Hermon took the corner. After taking down the ball on Granate's corner Enzo Hermon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Eduardo Galvão quite easily take care of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jaakko Ramstadius came free, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Granate's Jonathan Palmquist got control of the ball when Osmar Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar Marinho got free with Jonathan Palmquist in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manoel de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jonathan Palmquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aesir FC FSCMZ. Jonathan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Porto in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar Marinho got free with Jonathan Palmquist in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aesir FC FSCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
