In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seagulls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aipytos Stavropoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Proud FC's players had a chance to rest. Yuri Castilho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Seagulls booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aipytos Stavropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lartaun Ibar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dariusz Rekawiczka. When Red Proud FC's Hernan Chico in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 41st minute Hernan Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Erlin Haaland came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Erlin Haaland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Rexino. Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erlin Haaland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Red Proud FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Chico in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Rexino saved Seagulls from getting behind. Aurelio Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Lechințan in the 52nd minute of play. Fan made a great header on Red Proud FC's corner, it was just that Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino managed to reach the ball for a save. Red Proud FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Seagulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aipytos Stavropoulos took the corner. The corner ended in Erlin Haaland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino did a great save. Aurelio Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Chico in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Red Proud FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick van Boxel came free, but Lartaun Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlin Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Hernan Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Chico came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Red Proud FC got a freekick which was hit by Erlin Haaland. Seagulls made a substitution. Reinhard Kloppenburg replaced Roderick van Boxel. A collision led to Red Proud FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Erlin Haaland hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Hernan Chico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Rexino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Rexino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Lechințan went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Erlin Haaland notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino. Aurelio Rexino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erlin Haaland got free with Aurelio Rexino in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes Seagulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aipytos Stavropoulos who took care of the corner kick. Red Proud FC's Aipytos Stavropoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelio Rexino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Red Proud FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Red Proud FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
