Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Agulescu in the 19th minute of play. Adrian Isbășoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Sanna having to interfere. With a little luck, FC MCM's Călin Prunaru got control of the ball when Wit Lampa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Sanna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Agulescu in the 23rd minute of the match. FC MCM's Viktor Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cătălin Agulescu sped through Sporting Club Sicilia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Sanna. Călin Prunaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wit Lampa in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wit Lampa. In the 31st minute, Pau Novo made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Sanna. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 34 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Figueiredo came free, but Călin Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Club Sicilia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC MCM the free kick. Cristi Maniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half FC MCM were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Figueiredo to make the kick off. Alvaro Sanna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 55th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Alvaro Sanna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Rucci in the 94th minute of play. Călin Prunaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Rucci's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Pau Novo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Pau Novo got a free kick in the 96th minute. FC MCM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
