Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Paiva came free, but Mats Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Jakobsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Matthias Ekegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mats Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte in the 19th minute of play. Dé Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Anderson Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Jakobsson was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Valdomiro Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jesus Eusko in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Juoksengi's Vasco Cavaco. Mats Jakobsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdomiro Duarte's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Mats Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Paiva came free, but Mats Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Rogério Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nel Tagle kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Mats Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Matthias Ekegren made the kick off in the second half. Mats Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Várzea F.C.'s Aloísio Secco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mats Jakobsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Juoksengi from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Aloísio Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Várzea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aloísio Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson got control of the ball when Anderson Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Mats Jakobsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Montenegro in the 67th minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Mats Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juoksengi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aloísio Secco was slow to take the kick. During this time Várzea F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Juoksengi from getting a goal against them. Várzea F.C.'s Anton Scutaru was substituted for Alf Tennenbaum. Mats Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Saldanha in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Juoksengi defense, Valdomiro Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Jakobsson. The Juoksengi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Dé Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mats Jakobsson to make any attempt to save it. Várzea F.C. played a much better game than Juoksengi and deserved their victory. The Juoksengi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
