In the 8thth minute of the game Igor Tartalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Franja Dorada fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Franja Dorada's Igor Tartalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valentin Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Mel in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Franja Dorada's Silverio Jacob nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Pancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Gregorio Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Jacob in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Challestone S.C. were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Franja Dorada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yan Yuan took the corner. After taking down the ball on Challestone S.C.'s corner Robert Prosinečki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valentin Licerio quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute Silverio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Igor Tartalo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pepe Pancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Tartalo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 32nd playminute. Valentin Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Ambjörnsson in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Jacob in the 41st minute of play forced Challestone S.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Mel might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Licerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Mel ran back to his position shaking his head.

Pepe Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Tartalo in the 52nd minute of play. Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. Challestone S.C. made a substitution. Claudio Rosato replaced Yan Yuan. Challestone S.C.'s Tiberiu Arnăuțescu was substituted for Raul Verga. Challestone S.C.'s Alex Capone was substituted for Gregorio Mel. After 61 minutes, Alonzo Firme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franja Dorada and the Challestone S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Challestone S.C. booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute Mark Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Timo in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Robert Prosinečki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Licerio. Franja Dorada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Prosinečki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bülent Ruge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 77 in the game by Mark Ambjörnsson from a close distance when the talented Valentin Licerio managed to make a qualified save. Franja Dorada's players were relieved. Alex Capone's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valentin Licerio firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute, Alex Capone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentin Licerio. The goal made the score 4-3. Mark Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
