A sloppy throw-in by Paolo Nicholas in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maravilla's Roberto Mouzo. 29 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Abeita. 31 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Cruz Credo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richmond De Worteleere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Raimundo Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Facundo Altamirano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Guerau came free, but Facundo Altamirano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Primitivo Txanton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richmond De Worteleere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano got control of the ball when Rodrigo Jax tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Abeita to strike the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Maravilla and the AC 1986 Vinalito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Credo to maneuver through the defense. AC 1986 Vinalito made a substitution. Ezequiel Pirlo replaced Raimundo Guerau. Maravilla's attentive Paulus Van Poucke managed to snatch the ball when Paolo Nicholas made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Jax in the 90th minute of play. Maravilla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
