Genaro Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Traian, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Montez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Vergaray in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Laureano Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Funes Mori charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Funes Mori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Ramiro Funes Mori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Laureano Vergaray made the kick off in the second half. Genaro Montez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcu Piţurcă was substituted for Gică Hăulică. Toader Muncelean kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Adrogue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Funes Mori to maneuver through the defense. Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ismael Abalos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Filip Aanicăi made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Adrogue FC's Ramiro Funes Mori. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbal Club Vaslui's zone, Laureano Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Montez came out of the goal and Laureano Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Franco Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Azevedo. Adrogue FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fotbal Club Vaslui for a fine match.
