In the 21st match minute, All Boys 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yao Zhen Guang to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rony Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Freire in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Xiboquinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Eladio to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Sanches. After a defensive mix-up in Xiboquinha FC's zone, Yao Zhen Guang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rony Zanette came out of the goal and Yao Zhen Guang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rony Zanette made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when João Francisco Freire sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yngve Uggla to strike the kick off in the second half.
