Boleslaw Zielinski started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Boleslaw Zielinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Austin Muller hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bloodthirsty FC defense, Boleslaw Zielinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Biörkquist. The Bloodthirsty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Biörkquist should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Zielinski in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Biörkquist saved Bloodthirsty FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Severo Basualdo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Boleslaw Zielinski scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Biörkquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kenneth Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Lyons got a corner. Bloodthirsty FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Berasko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kenneth Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Nils Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Boleslaw Zielinski came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Lyons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Zielinski couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Lidström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Austin Muller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyons's Stig Åkerberg was substituted for Aurelio Vasco. Kenneth Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Biörkquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Roano in the 68th minute of play. Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Roano in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tomas Norberg hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Norberg. 75 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Berasko came free, but Kenneth Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lyons's Matei Daimacă got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bloodthirsty FC made a substitution. Dick Forss replaced Nils Lidström. Austin Muller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Biörkquist having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Lyons's Dariusz Roano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Biörkquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
