Fülöp Marton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Foley in the 3rd minute of play. Fülöp Marton made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Hugo Alexandersen sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Hugo Alexandersen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fülöp Marton firmly grabbed it by the left post. White Raven FC.'s Fülöp Marton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save White Raven FC. from getting a goal against them. Dušan Ančic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 25 minutes White Raven FC.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arbi Newell who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Sebastian Percival drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind White Raven FC.'s goalkeeper. In the 28th minute, Hipolito Cambranes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dušan Ančic was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Cambranes in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Dušan Ančic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Devon Howson threw the ball into play from the sideline. White Raven FC.'s Urbano Jerano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Hipolito Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Hipolito Cambranes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dušan Ančic. Club Atlético de Newell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Cambranes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Cambranes to strike the kick off in the second half. Dušan Ančic didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. White Raven FC.'s Hipolito Cambranes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. White Raven FC. made a substitution. Witalis Treppa replaced Boris Specht. Club Atlético de Newell made a substitution. Bobby Bear replaced Arbi Newell. Paris Amsterdam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dušan Ančic made a huge save. In the 70th minute White Raven FC. were awarded a corner. Urbano Jerano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led White Raven FC.'s Urbano Jerano to fire away a dangerous shot which Dušan Ančic despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paris Amsterdams short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Dušan Ančic to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute Spike Foley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fülöp Marton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Dušan Ančic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
