When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Igor Furgal sped through Sagarana Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedito Trigo. When Sagarana Clube's Yu Yang Sang in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kliczek&Syn's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Kliczek&Syn booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Furgal hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kliczek&Syn's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio da Cunha came free, but Iwan Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Igor Furgal scored to the left of an out of position Benedito Trigo, making the score, 2-0. Kliczek&Syn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paolo Rossi in the 30th minute. The corner led Kliczek&Syn's Paolo Rossi to fire away a dangerous shot which Benedito Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Beto Heidemann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Nakoneczny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iwan Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Salles in the 34th minute of play. Kliczek&Syn's Iwan Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Yang Sang in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute Yu Yang Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Kliczek&Syn's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Yang Sang came free, but Iwan Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Yang Sang's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto da Costa. If Paolo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Acep Abidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Benedito Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Sagarana Clube's corner Beto Heidemann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iwan Nakoneczny quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yu Yang Sang to strike the kick off in the second half. Yu Yang Sang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Iwan Nakoneczny made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éder Madureira got free with Iwan Nakoneczny in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Beto Heidemann. In the 65th minute Bruno Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Madureira in the 67th minute of play forced Kliczek&Syn's goalkeeper Iwan Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
