Eric Gary came out and tried to block the shot, but Jiang Hong slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 18th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovanni de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match.
