Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pagos FC's Uwe Birmes was substituted for Francisco Montae. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lei Feng Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Manuel Campens made a huge save. After 56 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Medeiros. Lei Feng Yan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Panteliadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
