The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Meder Muños cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sezer Akburç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s goalkeeper Sezer Akburç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pawel Engler might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sezer Akburç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pawel Engler ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s zone, Meder Muños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sezer Akburç came out of the goal and Meder Muños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meder Muños in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sezer Akburç saved AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Meder Muños's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sezer Akburç was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Szkaradek in the 28th minute of play. Sezer Akburç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meder Muños, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Intimos de Reynoso's Torsten Åkesson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Brice Tanneau in the 32 minute of the game. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Broman. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® made a substitution. Dave Beckham replaced Radoš Fajon. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meder Muños to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Serdar Deniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Erez Marica came free, but Sezer Akburç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 81st minute AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® were awarded a corner. Paszkál Ditmar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Paszkál Ditmar to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidio Roland despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ovidio Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Broman came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Boguslaw Szkaradek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lope Quijana got free with Sezer Akburç in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
