With a little luck, Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen got control of the ball when Faruk Gjika tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 于义常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Faruk Gjika fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Autochthonous's protests and gave Faruk Gjika a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Autochthonous getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Faruk Gjika hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Gjika in the 10th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Ironside received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Reynaldo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gjøran Kvale was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Autochthonous's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Autochthonous's Rami Kapaj got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Stephen was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Björn Ironside capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Björn Ironside really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Ironside in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Stephen saved Club Sportivo Italiano from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Björn Ironside in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Stephen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 于义常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Stephen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gjøran Kvale's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 于义常 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Pes in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Armando Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Sportivo Italiano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Ironside was slow to take the kick. During this time Autochthonous's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Autochthonous's Rami Kapaj got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Italiano's Theo Hayles made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 于义常 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburcio Evis charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiburcio Evis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Autochthonous booed when Club Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Björn Ironside made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gjøran Kvale in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faruk Gjika in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Björn Ironside managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Autochthonous's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Ironside was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Björn Ironside shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Ironside in the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Gjøran Kvale came free, but Reynaldo Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gjøran Kvale in the 70th minute of the match. 于义常 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theo Hayles in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Club Sportivo Italiano defense, Faruk Gjika kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Stephen. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Stephen should have stopped the shot. Autochthonous made a substitution. Merdin Ishka replaced Lavdosh Korani. The audience was convinced that Björn Ironside's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Stephen was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
