Anton Bârsan scored 1-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shi Bang Xiang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Laureano Dimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Amador Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amador Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Cardillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Arenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shi Bang Xiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Bârsan in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lechuguitas F.C.'s Luis Urdaspal got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Anton Bârsan took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shi Bang Xiang. Shi Bang Xiang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Renátó Csernyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Rosendo Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, FC Jamala's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Bârsan came free, but Shi Bang Xiang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Henning Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Cardillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes FC Jamala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Goyo who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Modesto Amor to score against Shi Bang Xiang in FC Jamala's goal. 1-3 after 64 minutes. 69 minutes into the match, FC Jamala's goalkeeper Shi Bang Xiang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Clodio. When Anton Bârsan came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lechuguitas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Bârsan couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Anton Bârsan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Jamala's Miguel Aimar got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Loco Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Cardillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Henning Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FC Jamala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henning Eriksson couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lechuguitas F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
