This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cruz Salcedo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 7th minute Rene Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoltán Battai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cruz Salcedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Zoltán Battai slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Cruz Salcedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Demesio went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the game, Zoltán Battai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cruz Salcedo. Zoltán Battai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Denis Sayavedra charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Sayavedra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Denis Sayavedra kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Denis Sayavedra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Piara Gerli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cruz Salcedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cruz Salcedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaques Feurer in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kojiro Schneider hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Piara Gerli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cruz Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Egoitz in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wang Sang Chen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Ellande was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Rene Egoitz scored 7-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cruz Salcedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoltán Battai was the one to do the kick off. Cruz Salcedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Battai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruz Salcedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Bernebe in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Piara Gerli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Cruz Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Bernebe in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Egoitz in the 61st minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper Cruz Salcedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When VAMO ARRIBA's Jesus Oxel in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 82nd minute Piara Gerli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Oxel in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cruz Salcedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piara Gerli took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cruz Salcedo. Cruz Salcedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When Wang Sang Chen came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wang Sang Chen couldn't finish the play. Ignacio Bernebe hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Cruz Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Egoitz in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Bernebe came free, but Cruz Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the VAMO ARRIBA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
