Musa Bardakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Büssinger came free, but Ovidiu Adrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çağdaş Yuvakuran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuan Lei Jing having to interfere. Ovidiu Adrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Pietro in the 23rd minute of the match. Ovidiu Adrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Musa Bardakçı, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Tiger De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuan Lei Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Freestylers's Ovidiu Adrian threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matthias Büssinger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Freestylers's Aytuğ Ergüden was substituted for Musa Bardakçı. The Freestylers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Freestylers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
