Jairo Deunoro started the match with the kick off. Higinio Arraz might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Urtsua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Arraz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Arraz in the 3rd minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Angelo Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 4th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes in the game Arnulfo Txanton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jairo Deunoro. When Higinio Arraz came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AFC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Arraz couldn't finish the play. Caballeritos del Baile's Angelo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Chao Yan in the 24th minute of play. Placido Bermudo made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jairo Deunoro. With an all-out effort, Caballeritos del Baile's Lei Bin threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo Deunoro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Caballeritos del Baile defense, Higinio Arraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Urtsua. The Caballeritos del Baile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Urtsua should have stopped the shot. AFC United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jordi Scherz in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Arraz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Higinio Arraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute AFC United were awarded a corner. Jordi Scherz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AFC United's Ken vrolix to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Urtsua despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 55th minute of play. Luisito Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jairo Deunoro's late challenge caught a AFC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Deunoro helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Deunoro. In the 72nd minute of the match AFC United got a corner. Caballeritos del Baile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jordi Scherz ran over to the corner to take the kick. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Urtsua in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Isaac Fernandez was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jordi Scherz made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andries De Putter however managed to control. 81 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Chao Yan came free, but Angelo Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Placido Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Hermelando. After 95 minutes Caballeritos del Baile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jordi Scherz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AFC United's corner Jordi Scherz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Urtsua quite easily take care of the ball. AFC United were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Caballeritos del Baile to leave the ground with a draw.
