Christophe Troxler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Montevideo City Torque's Ticho Covarrubias to fire away a dangerous shot which Ádám Szuper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 12 played minutes eDp! Gaming FC got a freekick which was hit by Elce Ko. Yves Passot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ádám Szuper made a huge save. Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason Mount in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Montevideo City Torque's Yves Passot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ádám Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Passot got free with Ádám Szuper in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Yves Passot made a precise shot to the right of Ádám Szuper. eDp! Gaming FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mason Mount in the 29th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Troxler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mason Mount went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, eDp! Gaming FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Van den Driesch came free, but Ádám Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yves Passot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. eDp! Gaming FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Yves Passot scored to the left of an out of position Ádám Szuper, making the score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Malvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Leizaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mason Mount in the 58th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. eDp! Gaming FC's Ádám Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Amadeo Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montevideo City Torque made a substitution. Reuben Meade replaced Yves Passot. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when eDp! Gaming FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
