Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danny Boy got the match started through his kick off. SimuV3's Julian Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Salles in the 2nd minute of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Raul Lips managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SimuV3's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Lips was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Raul Lips hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Boy's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Boy helped the player get up and apologised. Danny Boy kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Danny Boy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcos Buffon, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Sági in the 15th minute of play forced SimuV3's goalkeeper Julian Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Cabral in the 17th minute of the match. SimuV3's Julian Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Alegría in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoran Petrov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Sági in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Fernendo saved SimuV3 from getting behind. A collision led to SimuV3 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Karlo Orbiz hit a great ball. Luiz Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Fernendo having to make a save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Walmyr Salles sped through SimuV3's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Fernendo. Marcos Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoran Petrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SimuV3's Julian Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Alegría in the 39th minute of play. Julian Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Pombal in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Pacho Raya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SimuV3's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AVAÍ F.C. the free kick. Julian Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Salles in the 45th minute of play. AVAÍ F.C. were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after SimuV3's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Pombal took the corner. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julian Fernendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Salles in the 53rd minute. Marcos Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoran Petrov in the 54th minute of play. Marcos Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Lips in the 56th minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Rodolfo Umea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SimuV3 and the AVAÍ F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodolfo Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. SimuV3 made a substitution. Aureliano Manilan replaced Raul Lips. After having played for 66 minutes, Dario Alegría managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Alegría was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Feliciano Silvanito came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SimuV3 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Silvanito couldn't finish the play. AVAÍ F.C.'s Marcos Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Godoy in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, SimuV3's Julian Fernendo got control of the ball when Walmyr Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. SimuV3's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoran Petrov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The AVAÍ F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AVAÍ F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
