The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jurassic Monsters SA's attentive Thomas Hasselqvist managed to snatch the ball when Innocenzio Corales made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. With a little luck, Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu got control of the ball when Walmyr Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Yiğitcan İstanbullu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 11th minute, Elias Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Innocenzio Corales to maneuver through the defense. Jurassic Monsters SA's attentive Thomas Hasselqvist managed to snatch the ball when Innocenzio Corales made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Sági in the 21st minute of play. The throw-in from Innocenzio Corales in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jurassic Monsters SA's Thomas Hasselqvist. Thomas Hasselqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Salles came free, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Sági in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jurassic Monsters SA's Eliézer Ramos. Eliézer Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marcos Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Rubens Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AVAÍ F.C.'s Rubens Cabral, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for AVAÍ F.C.. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Alegría, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Buffon was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Jurassic Monsters SA's Severino Paes was substituted for Kauan Cunha. Gilson Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walmyr Salles made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Jurassic Monsters SA got a freekick which was hit by Percy Rocha. After 58 minutes AVAÍ F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredo Sá who took care of the corner kick. When AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jurassic Monsters SA's goalie prevented a goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s Tarcisio Chaves was substituted for Luiz Pombal. Innocenzio Corales made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rubens Cabral. Marcos Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 67th minute. If Luiz Fabiano Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Alex Sági managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Sági was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Sági in the 71st minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AVAÍ F.C.'s Innocenzio Corales quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomas Hasselqvist, made in the 72nd minute of the game. If Alex Sági had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jurassic Monsters SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmyr Salles in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiğitcan İstanbullu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Doriva Leão hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Salles in the 96th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jurassic Monsters SA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented AVAÍ F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
