Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Joó, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Abdulkerim Türköne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Basso came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia CF Mindszent's Gábor Joó. But to his dismay, Gábor Joó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gábor Joó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marcos Basso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulkerim Türköne came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkerim Türköne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If David Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Abdulkerim Türköne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gábor Joó took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Basso. Marcos Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Marcos Basso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gábor Joó showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Valencia CF Mindszent's Gábor Joó slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Basso. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. Marcos Basso made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gábor Joó sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pawel Gibowski during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipswich Traktor Boys's goalkeeper Marcos Basso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulkerim Türköne to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ipswich Traktor Boys's Berndt Edelweiss got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Valencia CF Mindszent getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marcos Basso came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos. But to his dismay, Konstantin Fitos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ipswich Traktor Boys made a substitution. Niklas Lundqvist replaced Abdulkerim Türköne. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Fitos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Basso was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Valencia CF Mindszent's Rene Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Valencia CF Mindszent from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the game, Herbert Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pawel Gibowski made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Torgny Söderström immediately put the ball in play. After 95 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Basso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Valencia CF Mindszent support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
