Xu Guang Peng was slow to take the kick. During this time Diablos Rojos's players had a chance to rest. Remus Pinches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Bin Yuan in the 7th minute of the match. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 唐沙旭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute 唐沙旭 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 唐沙旭 in the 17th minute of play. Ovidiu Epure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Patrone having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Axel Lindblom. In the 28th match minute, Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Vollmar to maneuver through the defense. Remus Pinches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 33rd minute of play. With his leg Matías Patrone managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Diablos Rojos's 唐沙旭 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led Diablos Rojos's Ovidiu Epure to fire away a dangerous shot which Matías Patrone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 唐沙旭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, 唐沙旭 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Los Delfines's Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 唐沙旭 in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Bierhoff made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 唐沙旭 in the 53rd minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Diablos Rojos from getting a goal against them. With 58 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Goyo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Goyo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Delioğlu in the 62nd minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Vidal made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Delfines's Hector Abadia. Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rene Sampedro in the 69 minute of the game. With a little luck, Diablos Rojos's Remus Pinches got control of the ball when Benê Møltov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Delfines were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Diablos Rojos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zachary Pliszka took the corner. If 唐沙旭 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 唐沙旭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Jerome Boateng in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Delfines's Hilario Asteri. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Delioğlu in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, 唐沙旭 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diablos Rojos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Diablos Rojos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Delfines for a fine match.
