Japy Man's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristoffer Kildeskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luisito Salvino made a huge save. 12 Monkeys's Kristoffer Kildeskov got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erhardt Wall hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Japy Man's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Frænkel came free, but Luisito Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Salvino made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Kristoffer Kildeskov sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Isidro Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 12 Monkeys booed when Japy Man was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristoffer Kildeskov to make the kick off. Kristoffer Kildeskov struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Luisito Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 12 Monkeys. 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save 12 Monkeys from getting a goal against them. Japy Man's Cornelio Poncio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Therkil Kammesgaard in the 56 minute of the game. Isidro Faro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Yoto Boshikyov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, 12 Monkeys's Erhardt Wall got a free kick in the 69th minute. Luisito Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Frænkel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Waldemar Frænkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Cornelius Middelhede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 12 Monkeys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Japy Man the free kick. Darman Ardiansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoto Boshikyov having to interfere. Darman Ardiansyah came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yoto Boshikyov could save by the left post. Japy Man's attentive Isidro Faro managed to snatch the ball when Therkil Kammesgaard made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Japy Man's Luisito Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Kildeskov in the 91st minute of play. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 12 Monkeys getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Erhardt Wall hit a great ball. 12 Monkeys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
