The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svend Betz in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Svend Betz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSX UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Svend Betz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitano Valdovinos to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz. After 15 minutes Cobresal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Åke Kvist who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea got control of the ball when Svend Betz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Dino Scapini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svend Betz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea made a huge save. Dino Scapini kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FSX UNITED defense, Gregorio Quintero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ye Wei. The FSX UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ye Wei should have stopped the shot. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svend Betz's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Svend Betz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 29th minute. FSX UNITED's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 31 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Popilean. FSX UNITED's Amancio Baesler was substituted for Zebastian Spets. In the 36th minute, Nunez Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Svend Betz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaitano Valdovinos in the 41st minute of play. The corner led Cobresal's Dino Scapini to fire away a dangerous shot which Ye Wei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Svend Betz made the kick off in the second half. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ignacio Allard in the 52nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Cobresal's Ye Wei threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dino Scapini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 62 minutes of play, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Cochrane came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Svend Betz. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Amancio Baesler got a free kick in the 76th minute. Cobresal's Dino Scapini got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svend Betz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 84th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Salas came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svend Betz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saved Cobresal from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Quintero in the 92nd minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Cochrane came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Scapini in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FSX UNITED had won after a very even match.
