An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 20th minute of play forced Circulo San Andres FC's goalkeeper Kyle Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Bailey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fernando Evangelista's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Circulo San Andres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Panait was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Șerban Rușanu was substituted for Virgil Oargă. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Tiniebra to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Shi Ming Sheng tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kyle Bailey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Ivar Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Stiinta-Univ. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Shi Ming Sheng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kyle Bailey. The goal made the score 0-5. Kyle Bailey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Lindqvist's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Kyle Bailey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Lindqvist in the 65th minute of the match. Circulo San Andres FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Ivar Lindqvist scored to the left of an out of position Kyle Bailey, making the score, 0-6. Kyle Bailey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Lindqvist's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Aurel Panait had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Shi Ming Sheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kyle Bailey was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Shi Ming Sheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Bailey having to interfere. In the 87th minute Shi Ming Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Bailey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyle Bailey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Shi Ming Sheng took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Kyle Bailey to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Stiinta-Univ. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Circulo San Andres FC throughout the match.
