In the 5th match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfírio Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Knight Of Dawn's Jeremias Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Knight Of Dawn from getting a goal against them. If Teta Grande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teta Grande in the 11th minute of play. Laureano Abeita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jeremias Cordario made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teta Grande came free, but Didi Papardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jilian Oosters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Cordario having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bernal came free, but Jeremias Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teta Grande in the 26th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Didi Papardelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Teta Grande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knight Of Dawn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Piquirenda FC's Didi Papardelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teta Grande in the 35th minute of play. Jeremias Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Abeita in the 36th minute of the match. Jeremias Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Bernal in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Abeita got free with Jeremias Cordario in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Didi Papardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teta Grande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Cordario made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Laureano Abeita sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Abeita made a kick off. Laureano Abeita took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Cordario. Jeremias Cordario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeremias Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Abeita in the 54th minute of the match. Didi Papardelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teta Grande, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Roberto Iratze replaced Jilian Oosters. Jeremias Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Gwidon Czajka got a free kick in the 64th minute. Knight Of Dawn's Gregorio Caton was substituted for Bruno Norino. In the 65th minute, Gwidon Czajka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didi Papardelas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teta Grande's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teta Grande got free with Didi Papardelas in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Eugenio Bernal notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Knight Of Dawn's Jeremias Cordario. Jeremias Cordario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Haroldo Vidal replaced Filiberto Indartsu. Efrain Manny hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bernal in the 89th minute of play forced Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Baresi charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Baresi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Knight Of Dawn got a freekick which was hit by Franco Baresi. In the 94th minute of the match Roberto Iratze shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Cordario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Piquirenda FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
