In the 24th minute, Tony Montana made a precise shot to the right of Giacomo Casanova. Montesacro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 31 minutes Tullidos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paolo Rossi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien to fire away a dangerous shot which Currito Torrente despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Guido Ocaña notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova. Giacomo Casanova was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Guido Ocaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Montana in the 44th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Montesacro FC defense, Guido Ocaña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giacomo Casanova. The Montesacro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giacomo Casanova should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. Montesacro FC made a substitution. Anthony Del Gatto replaced Paolo Rossi. In the 93rd minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Currito Torrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tullidos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
