With an all-out effort, Belotaurus FC's Leonardo Da Vinci threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego De La Vega, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Doni Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Leonardo Da Vinci made a huge save. In the 17th minute Diego De La Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Da Vinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Christian Pulisic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Da Vinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego De La Vega in the 21st minute. Dario Strazzabosco hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Fanis Geronimidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match G.E. Juventus FSCMZ got a corner. Belotaurus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 陈耀克 ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doni Cordeiro got free with Leonardo Da Vinci in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Bezerra in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Edgard Davids got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego De La Vega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Dario Strazzabosco in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Enio Berger. In the 92nd minute Abelardo Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Geronimidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego De La Vega in the 94th minute of play forced G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Da Vinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched G.E. Juventus FSCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
