When Piotr Kozlowski came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Gdansk36 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Kozlowski couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piotr Kozlowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Olisadebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match FC Gdansk36 got a corner. RÚSTICOS F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. One of FC Gdansk36:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RÚSTICOS F.C:s goal. Adam Matysek had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Melchor Eztebe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Witomir Zworski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Eudoxio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute Jan Olisadebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Iggi Kot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Denis Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Matysek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Eudoxio went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Adam Matysek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Eudoxio in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Witomir Zworski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gdansk36's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Zworski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Matysek having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Melchor Eztebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Gdansk36's Witomir Zworski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RÚSTICOS F.C. FC Gdansk36's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
