The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alto Wing took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Abeijon. Bernardo Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 47 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Henriksson came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ampthill FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Samurai's Jens-Ove Blomqvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Abeijon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Samurai were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxim Tsigalko to make the kick off. Bernardo Abeijon was a little too slow when Maxim Tsigalko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Sebastian Speed charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Speed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sebastian Speed hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Maxim Tsigalko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Maxim Tsigalko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Abeijon having to make a save. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samurai made a substitution. Ian Prutton replaced Hernán Grana. Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand was substituted for Timmy Henriksson. The supporters of Samurai booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Playo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Samurai's Wu Qi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Samurai's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
