Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximo Villamarin got the match started through his kick off. Red Reign's Derlis Florentin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Russ Blacknell in the 3 minute of the game. In the 4th minute, Maximo Villamarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Reign fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gez Little's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dawid Ratulowski was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Calvin Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Townsley in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Red Reign's zone, Calvin Townsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dawid Ratulowski came out of the goal and Calvin Townsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Leoverliz Barrutia. When Russ Blacknell fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ampthill FC's protests and gave Russ Blacknell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Russ Blacknell hit a great ball. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ampthill FC's zone, Maximo Villamarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Abeijon came out of the goal and Maximo Villamarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Maximo Villamarin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Abeijon. The goal made the score 2-0. Ampthill FC's Borys Rasialdo was substituted for Jack Potts. Ampthill FC made a substitution. Alvino Serre replaced Gez Little. In the 45th minute, Fitz Pickard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Villamarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
In the 51st minute Leoverliz Barrutia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Cerdeño made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Maximo Villamarin. After 54 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Speed. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 59th minute of the match. Calvin Townsley struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Dawid Ratulowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampthill FC. Red Reign made a substitution. Ismael Blanco replaced Derlis Florentin. Bernardo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Red Reign made a substitution. Pablo Beloso replaced Leoverliz Barrutia. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Maximo Villamarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Reign's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Villamarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Villamarin took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Abeijon. Bernardo Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 85 minutes into the game, Pablo Beloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Reign's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ampthill FC the free kick. A collision led to Red Reign getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pablo Beloso hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Abeijon came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin. But to his dismay, Maximo Villamarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bernardo Abeijon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Villamarin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ampthill FC's Alvino Serre tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
