Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Corderro in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Dionisio Berenguer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinchera FC and the CA Quake players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dionisio Berenguer hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trinchera FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rogelio Sadurni was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Quake's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Victoriano Sustrai heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 毛卫希 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. CA Quake's Rogelio Sadurni was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 毛卫希 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benicio Balasi scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 毛卫希, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silverio Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Dimas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Benicio Balasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 毛卫希 was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 29th match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Dimas took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Cordearo. Silverio Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mariano Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roque Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA Quake's Benicio Balasi got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryuji Laprise got free with Silverio Cordearo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute of the match CA Quake got a corner. Trinchera FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Sadurni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ryuji Laprise in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silverio Cordearo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. CA Quake made a substitution. Eloy Larra replaced Tomi Giusti. CA Quake's Igor Jago was substituted for Abel Inko. In the 71st minute, Andres Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Trinchera FC booed when CA Quake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo got control of the ball when Mariano Corderro tried to sneak it across the goal line. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Dimas in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jacobo Mouricio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The CA Quake supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trinchera FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Trinchera FC.
