Yuriy Babushkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Pierres came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Messina's Gervasio Larra was substituted for Salvador Iztal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Cordearo made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Babushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tello AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Nofre in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on Tello AFC's corner Hong Yi Yang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yuriy Babushkin quite easily take care of the ball. Yuriy Babushkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dalmacio Pello came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Messina's Luis Cordario. But to his dismay, Luis Cordario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. With a little luck, Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello got control of the ball when Luis Cordario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Messina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
