Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolas Espiridion got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Esmeraldas S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Damian Maftei. Menios Kefalos kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Valdomiro Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Maftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Genílson Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montalcino SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeraldas S.C. the free kick. The supporters of Esmeraldas S.C. booed when Montalcino SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Maftei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Valdomiro Ferraz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Martinez Cines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdomiro Ferraz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Damian Maftei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Maftei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Montalcino SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Stefanos Terzopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Valdomiro Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aguinaga Nebot made a huge save. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 70th minute of the match. When Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montalcino SE's goalie prevented a goal. Perivaldo Paiva had several of the Esmeraldas S.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Aguinaga Nebot as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aguinaga Nebot made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Perivaldo Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After 84 played minutes Esmeraldas S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Terzopoulos. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Nicolas Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeraldas S.C.'s zone, Nicolas Espiridion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aguinaga Nebot came out of the goal and Nicolas Espiridion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montalcino SE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
