When Arenc Tefa fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eagle FC's protests and gave Arenc Tefa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eagle FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Arenc Tefa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pereira in the 8th minute of play forced Eagle FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Jetmir Ruvina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's Nando Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Gârniceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Furtado Ozaolaza kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Penuel Football Club's Nando Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pana Rama in the 21st minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Penuel Football Club's Nando Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Gârniceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Pana Rama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gabrio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nando Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Gârniceanu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartz Orosco to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Gabrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arenc Tefa in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nando Pereira in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Gârniceanu saved Eagle FC from getting behind. After 42 minutes Eagle FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inaki Mirabal who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 44 minutes, Pana Rama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eagle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pana Rama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nando Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pana Rama was the one to do the kick off. Cătălin Gârniceanu made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Nando Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Rowan Reinhardt could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Cătălin Gârniceanu however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nando Pereira in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Gârniceanu saved Eagle FC from getting behind. After 59 minutes Eagle FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inaki Mirabal who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rowan Reinhardt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 62 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's Nando Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Gârniceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Eagle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pereira came free, but Cătălin Gârniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Furtado Ozaolaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Gârniceanu having to interfere. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Chen Shi Ran replaced Furtado Ozaolaza. Penuel Football Club's Luis Miguel was substituted for Nando Pereira. Cătălin Gârniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Carmona in the 71st minute of play. Vivaldo Carmona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Gârniceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Chen Shi Ran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eagle FC's Silvestre Galeno was substituted for Arenc Tefa. Luis Miguel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cătălin Gârniceanu made a huge save. When Penuel Football Club's Vivaldo Carmona in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eagle FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute Virgil Stănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Carmona. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Carmona in the 88th minute of the match. Penuel Football Club were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Eagle FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inaki Mirabal took the corner. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hartz Orosco hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Vivaldo Carmona put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu. When Penuel Football Club's Vivaldo Carmona in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eagle FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Carmona, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
