Kostas Samoladas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Theocharis Grigoropoulos with Antonis Papadimitriou as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 23 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Samoladas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kostas Samoladas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Hudák in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Kostas Samoladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Samoladas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. Panthiseiakos's Kostas Samoladas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Hudák in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Michal Hudák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Samoladas was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Hudák was the one to do the kick off. Michal Hudák showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Balázs Borbély received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kostas Samoladas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a well-played corner which Baran Gayret managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. AFK Petržalka's attentive Vernon De Marco managed to snatch the ball when Antonis Papadimitriou made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Samoladas, 0-11. When Nikola Krstović came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Krstović couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the game Theocharis Grigoropoulos made a throw-in which Petros Zabetas played forward. Kostas Samoladas made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. AFK Petržalka's Vernon De Marco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Theocharis Grigoropoulos in the 89 minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Samoladas, 0-13. 93 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Samoladas, 0-14. AFK Petržalka played a much better game than Panthiseiakos and deserved their victory. The Panthiseiakos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
