Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jochen Van den Panhuizen hit a great ball. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathijs Rokeloos in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georgi Velinov saved FC CSKA from getting behind. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Ahmet Refik Ülgü managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC CSKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Refik Ülgü was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georgi Dimitrov kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 武松 in the 25th minute of play. When Tanel Kiik fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC CSKA's protests and gave Tanel Kiik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanel Kiik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC CSKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georgi Velinov should have stopped the shot. The KFC Cromvelde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Cromvelde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
