An unexpectedly hard shot by Can Tapık in the 8th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Can Tapık in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Pancu. Daniel Pancu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gitano Rubiero scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bolo Skjold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Skarkman got free with Daniel Pancu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Paimboeuf in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Petter Skarkman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Pancu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Forza Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Selmi Kayı hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Petter Skarkman took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Daniel Pancu to make any attempt to save it. If Petter Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ulrik Söderlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrik Söderlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Pancu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Can Tapık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petter Skarkman to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold got control of the ball when Can Tapık tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute of the game Selmi Kayı made a throw-in which Can Tapık played forward. Vincent Paimboeuf charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Petter Skarkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Pancu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Ulrik Söderlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Pancu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Forza Beşiktaş's zone, Petter Skarkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Pancu came out of the goal and Petter Skarkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Forza Beşiktaş's Arif Gaffar Ayalp was substituted for Vincent Paimboeuf. In the 72nd minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Pancu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Pancu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Skarkman went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
