Brasiliense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walmyr Falcão in the 7th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Afiz Phua heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 13th minute, Clemente de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes of play, Gliwicka Torcida's Pawel Turok made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lionel 柯景义 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiz Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zhu Xiao Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Severo in the 26th minute of play. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiz Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Afiz Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that 肖树鸿's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lionel 柯景义 was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Claudinho Taffarel stood somewhat misplaced when Zhu Xiao Yang came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Lionel 柯景义 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Danielsson in the 36th minute of the match. When Gliwicka Torcida's Fabian Bator in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brasiliense FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute Fabian Bator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel 柯景义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Danielsson got free with Lionel 柯景义 in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhu Xiao Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel 柯景义 was a little too slow when 肖树鸿 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Xiao Yang in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Brasiliense FC got a corner. Gliwicka Torcida's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walmyr Falcão ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedrão Severo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 69 minutes into the match, Fabian Bator dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lionel 柯景义, 1-3. Lionel 柯景义 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Danielsson in the 75th minute of the match. Raimundo Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Lionel 柯景义 made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ingvar Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Gliwicka Torcida's Ingvar Danielsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Pawel Turok kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 87thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Brasiliense FC's keeper Lionel 柯景义 was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Lionel 柯景义 got control of the ball when 肖树鸿 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Afiz Phua. But to his dismay, Afiz Phua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gliwicka Torcida eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
