After 11 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lara Guadalupi was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold got control of the ball when Geert Wijgaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Arango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lara Guadalupi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Skarkman in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lara Guadalupi saved MAGNIFICOS.FC from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Shivaraja Budaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lara Guadalupi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Geert Wijgaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Wijgaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Cosme Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petter Skarkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Guadalupi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Wijgaert in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Protegéerna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Lalla was slow to take the kick. During this time MAGNIFICOS.FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gilberto Lalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Geert Wijgaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bolo Skjold came out of the goal and Geert Wijgaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Wijgaert in the 64th minute of play. Geert Wijgaert scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bolo Skjold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lara Guadalupi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Geert Wijgaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAGNIFICOS.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geert Wijgaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bolo Skjold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petter Skarkman struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Lara Guadalupi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protegéerna. Petter Skarkman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 81st playminute. 90 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of MAGNIFICOS.FC's Lara Guadalupi. Lara Guadalupi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Petter Skarkman made a precise shot to the right of Lara Guadalupi. MAGNIFICOS.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Protegéerna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
