Stockholm IF's Andreas Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm IF from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Cordario got free with Andreas Andersson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Saldanha in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Stockholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Holmgren came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristoffer Bjurström in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Jerold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustino Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristoffer Bjurström's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Stockholm IF's Kristoffer Bjurström in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spams's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Kristoffer Bjurström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spams's Faustino Jerold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by William Saliba. If Mattias Svan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Saldanha in the 19th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Bjurström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spams's attentive Sebastian Santio managed to snatch the ball when Roy Nordström made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Spams's Sebastian Santio got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Andreas Andersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Cordario. Faustino Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Holmgren's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 41 minutes, Karem Eagles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spams and the Stockholm IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Stockholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Andersson should have stopped the shot. 2-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Kurt Holmgren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Telo. After 74th play minutes Vinícius Servaes shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Andreas Andersson and just under the crossbar into goal. 82 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Servaes came free, but Andreas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Bobrowski made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roy Nordström immediately put the ball in play. In the 85thth minute of the game Vinícius Servaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockholm IF's Andreas Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Spams's Vinícius Servaes got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mauricio Bitxintxo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Spams's zone, Krzysztof Bobrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Jerold came out of the goal and Krzysztof Bobrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krzysztof Bobrowski during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Krzysztof Bobrowski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Stockholm IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
