The referee ignored New England Minas's protests and gave Glen Conklin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FISHBONE 06 booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen Conklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Ubarna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 11th minute Branislav Cokić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FISHBONE 06 were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after New England Minas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Don John took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Branimir Bajrić got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branimir Bajrić in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Branislav Cokić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Nicholas was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The FISHBONE 06 fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FISHBONE 06's Branislav Cokić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvir Beimović in the 72nd minute of the match. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don John, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muamer Hamdić in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Muamer Hamdić notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rekib Božić in the 89th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branimir Bajrić took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
