Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benicio Otoniel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ñacuñán AC's goalkeeper Raul Lipp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ñacuñán AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Tio Lio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 5th minute. Benicio Otoniel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremy Nicholas came out and tried to block the shot, but Benicio Otoniel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 10th minute. Benicio Otoniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Nicholas having to make a save. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when Benicio Otoniel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Lipp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Edgardo Silva scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Lipp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st match minute, Ñacuñán AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Presebal to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Silva scored 1-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Lipp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Tio Lio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tio Lio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Lipp. Raul Lipp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Ñacuñán AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New England Minas were winning 1-4.

Ñacuñán AC made a substitution. Eduardo Clodio replaced Benicio Otoniel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Raul Lipp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ñacuñán AC's Astor Guib got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Glen Conklin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Lipp skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's Eduardo Clodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Raul Lipp made a huge save. New England Minas made a substitution. Zachery Church replaced Roman Major. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ñacuñán AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on New England Minas's corner Glen Conklin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raul Lipp quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Xiao Bang Kun hit a great ball. If Tio Lio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Raul Lipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Silva struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Raul Lipp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ñacuñán AC's Eduardo Clodio. But to his dismay, Eduardo Clodio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Eduardo Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Tio Lio. 85 minutes into the game, Santos Cayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ñacuñán AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. After 85 played minutes Ñacuñán AC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Cayo. Edgardo Silva struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Raul Lipp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Eduardo Clodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Eduardo Clodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Gang Cheng to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over New England Minas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ñacuñán AC throughout the match.
