Piara Santo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Evaristo Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waitakere F.C.. Evaristo Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piara Santo in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Edgard Polentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piara Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luciano Iraido hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Edgard Polentzi in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Waitakere F.C.'s Jairo Virila. Evaristo Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piara Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Rencio in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Piara Santo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco. Evaristo Velasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Rencio made a kick off. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Piara Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Velasco. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Velasco should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Santo in the 59th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Evaristo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Nacho Scocco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Velasco. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Velasco should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Waitakere F.C. had played much better football throughout.
