If Franz Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lin Shu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ke Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Favila in the 17th minute of play. Natalio Favila spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Ke Qi grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. In the 19th minute, Arnaldo Albano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ke Qi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Przemyslaw Plachetka. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Engin Akbatu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Arif Devrim saved Æsir Ásgarðr from getting behind. With a little luck, - HULKAS -'s Ke Qi got control of the ball when Natalio Favila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ke Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Favila in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Æsir Ásgarðr got a corner. - HULKAS -'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Przemyslaw Plachetka ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mustafa Arif Devrim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Engin Akbatu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Engin Akbatu to strike the kick off in the second half. Engin Akbatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Æsir Ásgarðr were furious when Helgi Jónsson was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Natalio Favila might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ke Qi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Favila in the 64th minute of play forced - HULKAS -'s goalkeeper Ke Qi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ke Qi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Favila in the 79th minute of the match. - HULKAS -'s Florin Răducioiu was substituted for Engin Akbatu. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
