Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jeremias Tinoco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Léo Leão got control of the ball when Roger Bannister tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Tinoco in the 5th minute of play forced Rayland FC's goalkeeper Joel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Bannister's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. A collision led to Rayland FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Wasyl Redisz hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Jeremias Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Misericordia EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Misericordia EC's Zico Matamoros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Bertol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Misericordia EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustão Terra in the 27th minute. The corner led Misericordia EC's Faustão Terra to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Bertol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rayland FC's Eloi Bermudo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Joel Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Matamoros in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Roger Bannister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Bannister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Redisz. Jeremias Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Joel Bertol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Misericordia EC. Joel Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Matamoros in the 45th minute of play. Roger Bannister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 57th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Léo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Endrick de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Sidor hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Joel Bertol was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Faustão Terra. Rayland FC's Janusz Absolwent was substituted for Wasyl Redisz. After a rather tough play, Rayland FC's Endrick de Souza got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Tinoco in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Bertol saved Rayland FC from getting behind. A collision led to Rayland FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Leszek Sidor hit a great ball. Rayland FC made a substitution. Reynardo Salto replaced Frederic Ramm. In the 86th match minute, Rayland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Sidor to maneuver through the defense. Joel Bertol was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Faustão Terra. Léo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrick de Souza in the 95th minute of the match. The Misericordia EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Misericordia EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
