After some careless play in the Rangers FC defense, Lukas Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. The Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Fairbairn should have stopped the shot. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lukas Lundgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Fairbairn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Lundgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Lundgren in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Darius Bontine hit a great ball. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by POSSE 1911 FC's Lukas Lundgren. But to his dismay, Lukas Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Sérgio Aguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Fairbairn having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After 53rd play minutes Sérgio Aguero shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Fergus Fairbairn and just under the crossbar into goal. When Harold Fraser fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangers FC's protests and gave Harold Fraser a yellow card for diving instead. Harold Fraser kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Aguero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 79th playminute. Fergus Fairbairn was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Lukas Lundgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 89th minute, Sérgio Aguero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fergus Fairbairn. The goal made the score 0-10. Fergus Fairbairn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lukas Lundgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 93 minute of play. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when POSSE 1911 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Di Marco didn't get a good kick on the ball.
