In the 14th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Johnston to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn got control of the ball when Ivo Calado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Terapia Intensiva's Ivo Calado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Terapia Intensiva's Otoniel Bonet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Gilespie in the 21st minute of play. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Rangers FC from getting a goal against them. Danny Gilespie charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny Gilespie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danny Gilespie kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Fergus Fairbairn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Calado's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A collision led to Terapia Intensiva getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eleuterio Celipe hit a great ball. Tobias Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Fairbairn having to interfere. Terapia Intensiva's Lorenzo Fernanco got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Fernanco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fergus Fairbairn. Lorenzo Fernanco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Fergus Fairbairn was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Ivo Calado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivo Calado really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. With his leg Fergus Fairbairn managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Terapia Intensiva's Tobias Truylos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 minutes, Chuck Hammons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terapia Intensiva and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Terapia Intensiva got a freekick which was hit by Chuck Hammons.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Johnston couldn't finish the play. The Terapia Intensiva fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Terapia Intensiva's Ivo Calado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Rangers FC defense, Tobias Truylos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. The Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Fairbairn should have stopped the shot. Danny Gilespie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otoniel Bonet having to interfere. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Fernanco in the 81st minute of play. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Fernanco in the 86th minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Ivo Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Johnstons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Otoniel Bonet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Terapia Intensiva walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
